In the centre of the laboratory room is a large tub that takes up almost a third of the space due to its size. A grid rests on the edges of the tub, spanning the opening and supporting two tower-like ceramic works. Composed of stacked elements that merge into a dense, proliferating structure. The surface, covered with numerous spikes, gives the sculptures a fragile yet lively presence. Their organic forms are reminiscent of bleaching coral reefs or sacred, skeletal structures, while individual sections are reminiscent of carnivorous plants. The restrained colour scheme in light cream tones with occasional bright, colourful accents creates an exciting contrast between delicacy and menace. Water is pumped upwards through the structures, which then finds its way back down through openings and various levels. The splashing water gives the rather gloomy-looking room a soothing sound atmosphere.
